At Nathan Frost we pride ourselves in the selection of the best products available. If you are looking for cheap, we recommend you look elsewhere. What we stock are the best, most flavoursome olives, picked only from the best known regions. If you are looking for the best available, look no further.

We've selected some of the best olives from all over Europe and the Med and can offer them to you in numerous size containers from 140 gram jars up to 13 kilo tins.

Spanish:

Spain is the world's no. 1 olive producer and exporter. The green olives are harvested in September and October when they've reached full size and before changing their colour whilst the natural black olives are collected in December when completely mature. All the fruits are hand-picked in order to avoid any damage or bruises and are then processed and packed.

We are the UK's sole importer of one of Spain's biggest olive producers who export to more than 100 countries worldwide. You'll have to sample them to appreciate just how good they are! 

There are 3 types of "table" olive that come from Spain namely Manzanilla, Hojiblanca and Queen.

Queen: The biggest size olive with a strong flavour as a direct consequence of the high acidity that is developed during fermentation

Manzanilla: Unique in that they can only be cultivated satisfactorily in olive groves in the Seville region. Smaller than the Queen, very round in shape, fleshy and fine textured with a small stone and unique taste

Hojiblanca: Similar to the Manzanilla only they hold a darker colour, contain a larger stone and do not have quite as strong a flavour
